When looking at how the story develops in a music video, we liked how the main character could be presented, i.e. tied up and dragged into a room with low key lighting. Also, there is violence within the video but use of having the shadow protraying the character getting beat up we though was effective. We only chose to take features and apply them in our video if it would work and look good with the song choice we have yet to decide.

INITIAL PLANNING

The conventions used in this video interested as the editing is fast paced with short clips which created an exciting atmosphere. The use of slow motion in this video is used effectively as it showed different ways protraying simple clips. Examples being paint powder being thrown and the drummers beating the ski masks. For developing the music video, using the slow motions also adds a dramatic effect and a sense of suspense for the audience. An example being, when the drummer is getting ready to hit the drums.
